Have been down at our beach a couple of times now (just below Woodcreek Park near Bonniebrook) and it's been pretty good although a bit sea-weedy. It's been fun trying out new areas and asking the locals what they recommend! Happy Summer!

Comment by Lisa Williams on July 15, 2009 at 7:15am - as a child my favorite swimming beach was at the bottom of Flume Rd in RC. at low tide the sand went out forever so you could walk far from the beach, but the real fun started at high tide when the rocks became diving boards! I would be there for hours diving off the rocks, exploring all the crooks and crannies around the rocks and soaking up the sun laying on the sand. I went back a couple of years ago and found my childhood again. I love that beach...

- Last week, my husband and I discovered the beach just south of the Robert's Creek mandala. The water was definitely cold but so clear and really beautiful. Actually went in for a couple of quick dips:)
